The exciting circular hike on the Vigiljoch takes you with the Vigiljoch cable car to a hiking paradise with magnificent 360° panoramic views. You can find current timetables at: www.suedtirolmobil.info
The starting point for this circular hike is the mountain station of the Vigiljoch Cable Car. Following trail no. 34 the route takes us along a gentle incline up through the forest to the little church of St. Vigilius. It then continues along trail no. 9 with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains to the Schwarze Lacke mountain lake. The return route follows the - in places somewhat narrow - trail no. 7, which takes us back to our starting point.

From Merano direction Lana to the centre of Lana, Vigiljoch cable car valley station
Parking at the valley station of the cable car is limited and subject to a fee. We therefore recommend arriving by public transport.
The cable car is easily accessible by public transport. The Lana bus station is just a 3-minute walk from the valley station.
