With these advantage cards, you can discover South Tyrol comfortably and sustainably using public transport.
The Südtirol Alto Adige Guestpass, the MobilCard, and the Cable Car - Funicard offer numerous benefits and allow you to explore the region with ease and without a car.

The Cable Car - Funicard and the Combicard are available at the stations of participating cable cars.
The MobilCard can be purchased at local tourist offices, while the
Südtirol Alto Adige Guestpass is provided exclusively by our participating accommodation establishments.

Closure of the Vinschgau Railway Line

› Closure of the section Mals – Laas from February 16, 2025, until March 2026
› Closure of the section Merano – Laas starting October 2025
› A replacement bus service will be provided.

All valid train tickets, as well as the South Tyrol Guest Pass, will be accepted on the replacement bus service.
Reason for the closure: Testing and approval procedures for the new electrified railway line and the new train sets.

After completion of the work:
› Direct connection from Mals to Bolzano without changing trains in Merano.
› Train services every 30 minutes.
› New train sets will offer approximately 800 seats, compared to the current 300 seats.
