Tour destination

Partschins center

The starting point and destination of this circular hike is the village centre of Partschins. From the church square, with the parish church of St Peter and Paul, Stachlburg Castle and the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum, the route initially turns left onto the "Sonnenbergweg".

This is where “The Apple Walk” begins, an educational apple trail with informative stations and interactive elements. The path leads through extensive apple orchards and offers pleasant insights into the surrounding cultural landscape. After crossing the suspension bridge, the route continues to the Winklerhof inn.

At the Winklerhof, the path turns left and follows trail 1, passing the valley station of the Texelbahn cable car. After crossing Zielstraße, the route continues below along trail 1 to the bridge.

Here the path turns left and follows trail marking 7A along the Mühlwaal irrigation channel, leading back towards Partschins. The route finally returns to the village centre, where the circular walk comes to an end.

Note for families with buggies

For families with buggies, it is recommended not to follow trail 1 from the Winklerhof, but to use the access road towards the sports centre and campsite instead. After crossing the road, the route continues to the left past the valley station of the Texelbahn, where the main route can be rejoined.
