Waterfalls and Mountain Lakes in the Passeiertal Valley

Crystal-clear mountain lakes, roaring waterfalls, and picturesque river landscapes make hiking to the lakes of the Passeiertal Valley a truly memorable nature experience. Numerous trails lead to the region's most beautiful bodies of water, inviting you to explore and enjoy their peaceful surroundings.
Among the most popular destinations are Erensee Lake, Faglssee Lake, Großer Schwarzsee Lake, Obisellsee Lake, and Seeber See Lake. A true highlight is the Spronser Seen Lakes, South Tyrol's largest high-alpine lake district. These ten turquoise mountain lakes, situated between 2,120 and 2,590 metres above sea level in the heart of the Texel Group Nature Park, captivate visitors with their spectacular scenery.

The waterfalls of the Passeiertal Valley are equally impressive excursion destinations. The Stieber Waterfall in Moos in Passeier and the Stuller Waterfalls, which plunge a total of 342 metres in two dramatic cascades and rank among the highest waterfalls in Europe, offer unforgettable encounters with nature.
