High altitude hiking in Meran and Environs in South Tyrol

Hikers can escape everyday life by mountain climbing in Südtirol/South Tyrol. The strenuous climb is rewarded with a spectacular panoramic view. Meran/Merano and its surrounding areas, home of the renowned mountaineer Reinhold Messner, boasts spectacular wild mountain landscapes and some of the most beautiful peaks in South Tyrol. The Texelgruppe Nature Park alone has 16 peaks at three thousand meters in height.

The Spronser Seen lakes above the timber line and the dense forests below represent a diverse mountain world, untouched by mankind. Experienced mountain guides are available to take hikers to the most beautiful places in the region.
