A family hike becomes an adventure in Schnalstal Valley. Numerous trails lead to easily accessible mountain inns and huts, offering young and not so young a unique experience in nature. On the sun terraces, in the middle of this fascinating mountain world, the innkeepers serve fresh, traditional dishes such as dumpling soup, kaiserschmarrn (fluffy sugared pancake) and apple strudel. If you go hiking with an inquisitive nose and are also lucky, you might see a chamois now and again or even a golden eagle high above the mountains. Other than that, there are lots more animals waiting for the family at the mountain huts: cows, horses and cats. So: Have breakfast, get your rucksack and off you go to explore nature!
Tell your kids about the Schnalstal Valley hiking pin - they will have a lot of motivation for hiking. Small hiking professionals can hike the Schnalstal Valley hiking pin in
bronze, silver and gold. Very simply: stamp at the participating mountain huts and collect points at the same time. You get the bronze hiking pin with a score of 200 points, those in silver with 350 points and those in gold with 500 points. The number of points is doubled for seniors over the age of 65 and for children up to 10 years of age. The Schnalstal Valley hiking pin is available at the
