Kolossal of the 60ies, which was supposed to seal the brotherhood between Russian communists and Castro's ‘Barbudos’. In 1964, the Soviets sent Mikhail Kalatosov, a holy monster of Russian cinema, to the Caribbean island to shoot the great fresco about the revolution of the Cuban friends, accompanied by an extraordinary crew, among which the cameraman Sergei Urusevsky, a genius in this field, stood out.
