Trauttmansdorff Royal

The "Trauttmansdorff Royal" event wants to celebrate the memory of Empress Elisabeth of Austria's first castle stay. On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October, visitors will be offered the opportunity to listen to the gossip of "Sissi's lady-in-waiting" during guided tours in costume. On Sunday, the actors of the Piccolo Teatro Merano "Mario Tartarotti" will also participate in these guided tours. Furthermore, on Saturday 12th, the string quartet "Ladies in Dress" will cheer up those present by playing pop pieces on classical instruments. This will be followed in the evening by the presentation of books by Anette Hausmann and Valerio Vitantoni regarding the stays and itineraries in South Tyrol loved by Sissi. The two authors will also reveal many curiosities about the controversial figure of the sovereign. For free entry from 5:45pm, written reservation is required to: margit.mair@touriseum.it. Books are on sale during the event. This will be followed by a buffet and the opportunity to have a chat with the authors in front of a good glass of wine from the Laimburg winery.
