Blossom Farm Festival: A Taste of History

The Blossom Farm Festival is one of South Tyrol’s signature spring events. On Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, historic farmsteads and noble estates in and around Lana open their doors to welcome you into a world of tradition, craftsmanship, and culinary delights. Taste authentic farm products right where they are made, savor the flavors of South Tyrolean heritage, and immerse yourself in the rhythm of farm life – from the kitchen to the cellar. A creative supporting program and fascinating insights make this festival day an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

How do you get from farm to farm? The best way is on foot, soaking in the spring sunshine and the scent of blossoms. But for even more convenience, our Lana in Bloom shuttle service is at your disposal.

Four lines (A, B, C, and D) run between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, taking you from Lana’s bus station directly to the participating farms.
Some farms are only accessible on foot or by shuttle. Limited parking is available at select locations, but please note that not all farms can accommodate large tour buses (50-seaters).

This farmstead is idyllically located on the Frigeleberg, surrounded by sun-kissed vineyards at the entrance to the Ultental Valley. The primary focus of the farm is viticulture. Beekeeping and goat farming serve as additional sources of income. The farm's special pride is its newly restored historic wine cellar, offering insights into the history of winemaking.

The Laimer family has been running the Pfefferlechner for over 40 years. First mentioned in 1297, this historic establishment serves regional delicacies, fine wines, and house-brewed beer. With "FREEDL," it is Italy's first family-run microbrewery specializing in alcohol-free beer.

The Kammerhof has been awarded by the South Tyrolean Farmers' Union as a family-friendly farm. It is located amidst apple orchards on the outskirts of Lana. In addition to fruit farming and farm holidays, there has been a farm beekeeping operation with a farm shop for several years.

First recorded in 1676, Stettnerhof was originally built in the village center of Völlan and later relocated and rebuilt in the late 1970s. In addition to fruit farming and farm holidays, there has also been a farm shop for several years.

The farmstead Bauer am Stein was built several centuries ago on a rock "Stuan" above Völlan/Foiana and offers a beautiful view of the Etschtal valley. Over the past decades, the mountain farm has developed into a modern agricultural operation with several branches: fruit farming, keeping dairy goats and chickens, a farm tavern, and its own vineyard. During a visit to the farm tavern, guests are served by Karin Kofler Frei, "Farmer of the Year 2023."

First documented in the 14th century, the Biedermannhof appears as the property of the Clarissan convent in Meran/Merano. For over 200 years, the Biedermannhof has been owned by the Innerhofer family. For centuries, wine was produced in the cellar vaults of the farm.
