This eventful hike over the broad alpine meadows of Merano 2000 passes through the picturesque natural surroundings at the foot of the Ifinger. Along the way there are cozy huts and rustic alpine pastures offering refreshment.
This beautiful but challenging hiking tour across the pastures of Merano 2000 starts from Taser Alm and winds past the Taser Chapel along the Taser High Trail (No. 40) up to Streitweideralm. Here begins the ascent to Oswaldscharte at the foot of the Ifinger. Across the alpine slopes of Merano 2000, follow trail marker No. 19A downhill to Waidmannalm and out to Piffinger Köpfl at the mountain station of the Merano 2000 cable car, which you take for the descent.

Bus line 231 from Merano to Schenna (bus stop: center) and with bus line 233 from Schenna to the valley station of the cable car Taser.
For the return trip from the Merano 2000 cable car to Schenna, you can take bus line 232, and to Merano, the city line 1.
