Cattle drive
Experience the traditional return from the mountain pastures in Pfelders, with local traditions, music and entertainment in good company
On 12th September, the festively decorated cows return to the valley from their summer retreat on the Lazins Alm. Headdresses made from magnificent flower arrangements adorn the returning summer guests, who are admired by numerous spectators.
Various Passeier specialities are available to eat.
11:00 a.m.: Start of the traditional cattle drive at the Lazins Alm hut
Around 12:00 p.m.: The herd is festively driven through the village of Pfeldersto the festival grounds, where the Shepherds’ Festival takes place.
