1st Cattle drive in Walten
Decorated cows, live music with Duo Flexibel, food & drinks, coffee & cake and a bouncy castle for the little ones
As the summer season in the mountain pastures slowly comes to an end, things get cosy in Walten once again: for the first time, the cattle drive of the Moser and Wanser mountain pastures will take place!
For this special day, some of the cows will be traditionally decorated and make their way down from the Wansertal valley to Walten. The small herd is expected to arrive at the Auerhof inn in Walten at around 11:00 a.m.
After the arrival, there will of course be a celebration together! From 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Duo Flexibel will provide a great atmosphere with live music and a pleasant afternoon. Performances by the Goaslschnöller will provide additional entertainment in between.
There will also be plenty of culinary delights: Martins Hofladen and the Auerhof inn in Walten will provide food and drinks. Those who prefer something sweet can enjoy coffee, homemade cake and original Passeier Krapfen.
There is also plenty on offer for our youngest guests: directly at the Auerhof inn, there is a playground as well as a small bouncy castle where the children can have fun.
And anyone who enjoys a little guessing should definitely take part in the estimation game! With a bit of luck, there are great prizes to be won: a breeding calf, a cowbell and two combination tickets for the Waltner Musikfest 2027.
