A diverse hike via a cliffside path, forests, and meadows
We travel by privat coach over the Gampen Pass, passing Fondo until we reach the small hamlet of Sanzeno. The hike begins at the Rhaetian Museum in Sanzeno and follows a daring cliffside path. At times, you’ll need to watch your head to avoid the sharp rocky edges, but a sturdy wooden railing ensures a safe and worry-free experience. The path leads up to San Romedio, the former hermitage, where we will stop briefly.
From there, we ascend via Doss Canestrini to the Tavon and Palu lakes. The "Viale dei Sogni" (the "Path of Dreams") then leads us to the historic village of Coredo. Finally, we walk through apple orchards back to our starting point, with an opportunity for refreshments along the way.
