Percussion concert by the Music School Merano/Passirio Valley

On 20 May 2026 things are going to get loud! The percussion students of the Merano Music School, under the guidance of their teachers Hannes Reiterer and Max Calanducci, invite you to a special concert evening. They will present virtuoso solo pieces as well as ensemble percussion pieces. Whether on the drum, the drum kit, mallet instruments or percussion – virtually the entire range of percussion instruments will be heard, and there is sure to be something for every listener.
As a highlight, the winners of this year’s ‘Prima la musica’ competition will perform, showcasing parts of their competition programme. Among others, the ensembles “Junior Sticks” and “Quick Sticks” will be performing.
The concert will take place on Wednesday, 20 May at 9 pm on the upper Pfarrplatz, in front of the Palais Mamming Museum, in Merano. In the event of bad weather, the concert will take place at the Merano City Theatre.
