What a delight - the smoked meats of the Obertimpflerhof

Fresh mountain air, plenty of free range and GMO-free feeding ensure that the pigs at the Obertimpflerhof farm in Vöran feel completely at ease. ‘That's the secret to the outstanding quality of our meat,’ says farmer Franz with conviction. This is processed into delicious bacon and sausage products using traditional methods on the farm.
Guided tour of the stables, production and maturing rooms with all sorts of interesting facts about farming and processing on the farm - followed by a tasting session with farmer Franz.
Approach
By public transport:
- Bus line no. 204 - bus stop "Sportplatz Vöran", on foot to Obertimpflerhof (10 minutes).
- Funicular Vöran no. 226 until Vöran, on foot to Obertimpflerhof (about 30 minutes)

By car:
- From Meran towards Hafling and Vöran, continue in direction of Mölten, turn right 150 metres after the artisan zone of Vöran to Obertimpflerhof.
- From Bozen via Terlan towards Vöran. Turn left before the artisan zone of Vöran to Obertimpflerhof.
