With 315 days of sunshine a year, Naturno/Naturns is a
hiking area suitable for the
entire family. A diverse network of paths will take hikers through the
Texelgruppe Nature Park and the
Sonnenberg and
Nörderberg mountains.
In Naturno, there are three different
hiking areas. In the valley, wide trails run through apple orchards and meadows;
paths along ancient irrigation channels can be found on the slopes of the Sonnenberg mountain; and challenging
mountain tours lead up into the
high mountains, to the summits of the Texelgruppe mountain range. Among the most popular
hiking trails around Naturno is the
Merano High Mountain Trail, a long distance tour between mountain huts over several days.
