The natural sledge run leads over 4 miles through the larch forest of Watles. It is a place for relaxed sledge rides and is considered as one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the entire Alpine region, also ideal for families with small children as it is easily reached with the chairlift. Real sportsmen, of course, reach the sledge run by foot (uphill approx. 1.5 hours journey).
At the chairlift mountain station (with sledge rental) as well as the valley station, visitors will find huts and alpine pastures for families in a cozy environment and with spacious sun terraces.
On these Friday evenings the Watles belongs to the night tobogganists. The toboggan run is lighted up and leads from the Plantapatsch alpine hut to the valley station of the chairlift. The last journey with the chairlift is at 10.50 pm.
