With their quiet and panoramic location above the South Tyrol Etschtal Valley,

Prissian, two villages south of Merano/Meran, were noted as
hiking retreats for the aristocracy and landowners in past centuries. The many

hikes to summit
tours on the Laugen mountain. From here, it is possible to hike to panoramic vantage points such as St. Hippolyt or St. James. There are many
