There are numerous mountain trails and via ferrata around Tesimo/Tisens and Prissiano/Prissian. One of the most extraordinary climbing walls in South Tyrol is the ten meter-high rock face at the
prehistoric cult place of Narano/Naraun, amid a sparse forest near the Narauner Weiher pond, with dozens of climbing routes.
Just an hour away to the east of Tesimo are the surrounding Dolomites (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site). To the north there extends the climbing paradise of the Texelgruppe Nature Park and in the west, the Stilfserjoch National Park with the high Ortler massif.
Climbing Gardens around Tesimo - Prissiano
Many climbing areas can be found in the area: the boulder area in Lagundo/Algund, the winter ice climbing tower in Corvara/Rabenstein, the climbing wall at the Fragsburg waterfall, or the Rockarena indoor climbing hall in Merano/Meran and the Salewa Cube indoor climbing hall in Bolzano/Bozen.
On the 40,000 m² SportZone in Bolzano road there is a six-lane athletics track, football pitches, a smaller training pitch, two beach volleyball fields, a skate park, a Boulder tower and a grenade launcher.
