The Hasenöhrl (also called the Hasenohr) belongs to the Ortler range and is its most easterly 3,000 m peak. Still covered by a glacier on its eastern and northern sides, the mountain rises like a symmetrical pyramid with relatively gentle-to-climb ridges between the Ultental and Vinschgau valleys. The height, at just over 3,250 m, and the open central location make it a truly outstanding viewing point.
