Anyone heading into the mountains in the Ultental Valley should prepare carefully and take current conditions into account. This includes suitable clothing and sturdy footwear, enough water, and a realistic assessment of your own fitness and experience. Check the route, weather and current conditions in advance and plan your tour accordingly.

The same rule applies in the mountains: whatever you bring with you, take it back with you. Please do not leave any litter behind, and respect plants, wildlife, grazing land and the people whose work helps maintain our cultural landscape. Stay on designated paths and be considerate of other mountain users.

Whenever possible, use public transport or cable cars. Many walks and hikes can be reached conveniently this way while also reducing the impact on the environment.
