Under the expert guidance of Hannes Schmider, owner and head chef of the Kienegger inn in Vellau, you will discover the versatility and sophistication of dumplings. Whether hearty or sweet, as a main course, side dish or soup addition – the dumpling is a true cultural treasure and cornerstone of traditional South Tyrolean peasant cuisine.
In this delightful cooking course, you will learn step by step how to create the perfect dumpling shape, light yet firm on the plate. But that's not all: you will also learn how regional ingredients and even mineral-rich medicinal herbs can enrich dumpling recipes.
As a special bonus, Hannes will share with you his favorite dumpling recipes – suitable for every season. Of course, you will receive recipes to take home, so you can recreate these delights at home. Finally, you will enjoy the dumplings together in a friendly atmosphere.
