Basel documents the gradual erasure of Masafer Yatta as IDF soldiers destroy the families' homes: the largest act of forced relocation ever carried out in the occupied West Bank. In the drama, Basel crosses paths with Yuval, an Israeli journalist who joins his struggle, and for more than half a decade they fight together against the expulsion, growing closer and closer. The bond is marked by the profound inequality between them: Basel, living under brutal military occupation, and Yuval, free and unrestricted.
