The Deutschnonsberg region in the holiday area of Meran and Environs has been host to two major culinary events for several years: the
Dandelion Weeks, held between the end of April and mid-May, and the
Radicchio Days, from mid-September to mid-October. During these events, the inns, restaurants and taverns on the Deutschnonsberg present a variety of special regional dishes in honor of these two typical local products. The Dandelion Weeks at Deutschnonsberg is one of the oldest culinary initiatives in South Tyrol.
