Directions

The Innerhütt cross-country ski trail consists of two interconnected sections with different levels of difficulty:

A) For beginners and leisurely cross-country skiing

The trail section, just under 3 km long, is ideal for beginners and anyone who enjoys a relaxed cross-country skiing experience. Start at Innerhütt inn and follow the trail further into the valley towards the south-east. After several wide loops, you return to the starting point.

There are no significant climbs or descents on this section. The exception is the final part, which features a short, easy descent followed by a brief climb. You can easily avoid this section by starting a new loop at the road crossing or reaching the end point after just a few metres.

The total elevation gain and corresponding descent amount to 25 metres over the route of just under 3 km.

B) For experienced and fit cross-country skiers

The trail section, just over 2 km long, is ideal if you already have some cross-country skiing experience and are looking for a slightly more challenging route. Start at Innerhütt inn as well, but follow the trail out of the valley towards the north-west.

You can expect several moderately challenging climbs of varying lengths, two short, fast descents and a longer gliding section with a gentle gradient. If you want to avoid the more challenging of the two fast descents, you can take a shortcut starting from the highest point.

The total elevation gain and corresponding descent amount to 45 metres over the route of just over 2 km.
