An ideal starting point for hikes and cycle trips

Starting from Nals, various hiking and cycling routes help make exploring South Tyrol a highly enjoyable experience. Located halfway between the two main provincial towns, cyclists from Nals can reach either Meran/Merano or Bolzano/Bozen in just fifteen minutes. A number of other destinations are also easily reachable from Nals, such as the highest mountains in South Tyrol, the Kalterersee lake, the Montigglerseen lakes and Lake Garda to the south.
