Slide, jump or swing: The playgrounds in Schenna/Scena are a welcome change for all little explorers. In the village itself and all around you will find everything your children want to let off steam: from the natural playground Rebenpark just behind the mausoleum to the playground Rodelstein in St.-Georgener-Straße street, from the playground at the parish church in Verdins to the playground in the higher situated Obertall/Talle di Sopra. You will be amazed at how different, creative and yet child-friendly these play paradises are designed.
Speaking of variety: at 1,450 meters above sea level, the Taser family Alpine pasture is home to the highest playground in Schenna. In the valley, about fifteen minutes' drive from the village center, South Tyrol's largest children's playground with 5,000 square meters of space and lots of playground equipment is located in Gargazon/Gargazzone. An even larger, untouched playground is offered by the villages of Hafling/Avelengo and Vöran/Verano on the Tschögglberg mountain above Schenna. They turn nature itself into a unique adventure playground. You should also not miss the “Knottnkino” nature cinema and the Beimsteinknott with spectacular views.
