On Sunday, 13 September, it’s that time again: the Marling whip-crackers and the Marling Tourist Association invite you to the Marling fairground for a day of handmade crafts, local traditions and regional specialities. 🛠️🎶🍽️

🎶 traditional live music by the "Marlinger Böhmische"
🍽️ homemade specialities prepared by the Marling whip-crackers
🛠️ whip-cracking performances and fascinating insights into how a traditional “Goaßl” whip is made

Marlinger Vereine stellen sich vor – VKE Marling 🤸😁

Der VKE Marling setzt sich mit viel Herzblut für Kinder und Familien in Marling ein. Mit abwechslungsreichen Freizeitangeboten – ganz bewusst abseits des Medienkonsums – bereichert der Verein das Dorfleben und fördert Gemeinschaft, Kreativität und das Miteinander. 🎨🤸‍♀️

Über das Jahr hinweg organisiert der VKE Kinderfeste mit dem Spielbus, Bastelnachmittage und ist auch beim Ausschank am neuen Eislaufplatz in Marling aktiv dabei. 🎉❄️

Ein besonderes Anliegen ist die Pflege wichtiger Dorftraditionen. Ob Martinsumzug, Nikolausfeier oder Kinderfasching – mit viel Einsatz trägt der VKE dazu bei, diese Bräuche für Kinder erlebbar und lebendig zu halten. 🏮🎅🎭

Viele Veranstaltungen wären ohne die enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Vereinen und Organisationen im Dorf und darüber hinaus gar nicht möglich. Dieses Miteinander stärkt den Zusammenhalt und macht das Dorfleben in Marling so besonders. 🤝

Der VKE lebt vom Einsatz seiner Mitglieder und freiwilligen Helferinnen und Helfer, die mit viel Freude dazu beitragen, das Dorfleben für Familien aktiv mitzugestalten. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle, die den Verein unterstützen! 💚👏

Marling Associations Introduce Themselves – VKE Marling 🤸‍♀️

The VKE Marling is a volunteer association dedicated to creating meaningful leisure activities for children and families in Marling. Community, play, creativity and togetherness are at the heart of everything they do. 🎨🤸‍♂️

Throughout the year, the association organises children's festivals with the play bus, craft afternoons and helps run the refreshment stand at Marling's ice rink. They also keep local traditions alive through events such as the St. Martin's Lantern Parade, the St. Nicholas celebration and the Children's Carnival. 🧒🎭

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers for their dedication and invaluable commitment! 👏☺️

Der Spätsommer ist die perfekte Zeit, um Marling und seine Umgebung auf zwei Rädern zu entdecken. Die Apfelernte ist bereits in Gange und schon bald beginnt auch die Weinlese. Die Apfelwiesen und Weinberge zeigen sich jetzt von ihrer schönsten Seite. Mit etwas Glück könnt ihr die Bäuerinnen und Bauern sogar bei ihrer Arbeit beobachten und einen spannenden Einblick in die Landwirtschaft unserer Region gewinnen. 🚜☀️👨‍🌾

Ob gemütlich mit dem E-Bike, sportlich mit dem Rennrad, auf abwechslungsreichen Mountainbike-Touren oder auf entspannten Radwegen durch die Wein- und Obstlandschaft – in und um Marling findet jeder die passende Route. 🚴🌿

Unterwegs laden idyllische Dörfer, schöne Aussichtspunkte und gemütliche Einkehrmöglichkeiten zu einer Pause ein. So lässt sich die Region ganz entspannt und im eigenen Tempo entdecken. ☀️🍇

It won't be long now...🍎 🍏

The apple harvest in Marling is just around the corner – one of the most beautiful and busiest times of the year. Soon, local fruit growers will once again be out in the orchards, carefully hand-picking the ripe apples. 🚜🌳

But before a crisp South Tyrolean apple is ready to be harvested, there's a lot of work involved. From the blossoms in spring and caring for the trees throughout the summer to choosing the perfect moment for harvest, every apple is nurtured with great care. 🍏☀️
