Our farm shops are a vibrant expression of farming tradition and true regional character. With great care and craftsmanship, products are made directly on the farm – fresh, authentic and of the highest quality. From fruity jams, aromatic syrups and honey to dairy products, fine fish and meat specialities, bacon, fresh vegetables or fragrant herbs, the shelves are filled with homemade delicacies that capture the unmistakable flavour of the region. More and more local producers are participating in the “fir dier” quality label with their products. It distinguishes products whose raw ingredients come from the Passeiertal Valley and are processed here in the valley. These producers are happy to open their (barn) doors and show you where the food comes from.
The Tourist Office Passeiertal Valley regularly organises guided farm tours, offering authentic insights into agricultural life. Some farm shops also provide tastings and guided visits on request.
