The Timmelsjoch Experience project provides background information about the nature and culture of the region.
Five sculptures on the roadside invite cyclists and motorists to stop: the high Granat viewing platform and a giant telescope (Fernrohr) allow views of the Ötztal Valley, the Passeiertal Valley and the
Texelgruppe Nature Park. A walk-in cube illuminates the once thriving smugglers path and the Pass Museum tells the history of the this alpine road.
All stations of the Timmelsjoch Experience can be viewed free of charge.
