Red Bull X-Alps 2025 | Climb & Fly at Meran 2000

As part of the Red Bull X-Alps 2025, the Schenna Tourist Association is offering this guided tour at a special price.

The highlight: You decide how you return to the valley!
By cable car – relaxed and comfortable, or with a tandem flight – a unique experience in the air!

When you register, please indicate whether you prefer to return by cable car or tandem flight. Participants who choose the tandem flight will be contacted by Tandemclub Ifinger after registration to arrange the details and finalize the booking.

Here are the prices for the different flights, which you can pay directly at the Tandemclub Ifinger:
30 minutes flight time: €130
45 minutes flight time: €160
60 minutes flight time: €190

Ferrata info:
The 550-meter elevation gain, secured with 1000 meters of steel cable, has a moderate difficulty level (A - B - B/C), making it suitable for less experienced climbers or families with children aged 14 and above who enjoy hiking and climbing!
A good overall fitness level and an early start are essential to tackle the Klettersteig.
The path is fully secured with steel cables, and many steep and difficult sections have been eased with footholds.
However, the final section of the via ferrata, the so-called "Engelskante", is a truly impressive rock passage.

Climbing time: 3 - 4 hours
Return time: approx. 4:00 PM

Meeting point is the valley station of the Merano 2000 cable car (Naifweg 39), there are plenty of parking spaces on site.
Arrival by public transport: Bus line 1 from Merano, bus line 232 from Schenna.

Sturdy shoes, weather protection, drink for the road, via ferrata gloves.

The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the excursion, after which 50% of the ticket will be retained.
No money will be refunded in case of no-show.

The price includes the guided tour, the Merano 2000 cable car and the standard equipment: climbing harness, via ferrata set and helmet.
The equipment must be collected from the Schenna tourist office!
