This easy hike from Dorf Tirol/Tirolo to Schenna/Scena offers many beautiful views.
The hike from Dorf Tirol/Tirolo to Schenna/Scena starts in the center of the village (tourist information office) and follows Aichweg to the junction with Jaufenstraße. Here go right down Jaufenstraße. After crossing this road, continue through apple orchards to the Purenweg hiking trail, then right towards the Passer to the cycle track – continue left to the Passersteg. Cross over the suspension bridge over the river Passer and then head uphill to Schenna. Return by bus to Meran and Dorf Tirol.
Along the Bolzano/Bozen-Meran/Merano expressway to the exit Meran South-Sinich/Sinigo - Dorf Tirol/Tirolo - along the main street to the tourist information association (main street 31).
Chargeable parking just down from the tourist information association near the turn-off onto Aichweg.
Take bus 221 from Merano to Dorf Tirol bus station in the centre of the village.
