Two Winners from Tschögglberg at the Hotel Sustainability Award 2025

The Tschögglberg is setting the standard for sustainable tourism. At the prestigious Hotel Sustainability Award 2025 by Fiera Bolzano, two local businesses were awarded – a strong signal of commitment and innovation.

Schwarz Brennerei in Mölten

Three quarters of all cable cars in the world today still use this principle, which was first applied here by engineer Luis Zuegg. For the village of Hafling, the new, fast connection to the valley brought an economic upswing and the initial spark for tourism.

Winter’s last dance: carnival customs in South Tyrol
Rough, rustic and traditional: in some communities in South Tyrol and the Alpine region, ancient carnival customs have been preserved. The winter is bid farewell with a lot of noise and fanfare in accordance with traditional customs and with an astonishing wealth of facets. There is hooting, rattling, croaking and ringing for all it's worth – as long as it’s loud and colourful.
