Congratulations to Hotel & Gasthof Zum Hirschen in Jenesien

We are delighted to congratulate Hotel and Gasthof Zum Hirschen on successfully achieving the GSTC certification as well as the South Tyrol Sustainability Label Level 3.

Nachhaltigkeit hat im traditionsreichen Familienbetrieb seit Generationen einen festen Platz. Bereits seit fünf Generationen wird der Gasthof von der Familie geführt – mit einem besonderen Augenmerk auf Regionalität, Kreislaufwirtschaft und gelebte Verantwortung gegenüber Natur und Mensch.
Die Küche setzt konsequent auf saisonale Produkte aus regionaler Landwirtschaft sowie zum Teil auf hofeigene Erzeugnisse. Dieses Zusammenspiel aus Landwirtschaft und Gastronomie macht den Betrieb zu einem Vorzeigeprojekt für nachhaltigen Tourismus am Tschögglberg.
Die Auszeichnung mit dem international anerkannten GSTC-Zertifikat bestätigt dieses Engagement auf höchstem Niveau. Ergänzt durch das Nachhaltigkeitslabel Südtirol Level 3 wird sichtbar, dass hier nicht nur einzelne Maßnahmen umgesetzt werden, sondern ein ganzheitlicher Ansatz verfolgt wird.
Wir freuen uns sehr über diesen wichtigen Schritt und danken für den wertvollen Beitrag zu einem nachhaltigen Lebensraum Tschögglberg.
