The e-bike loading station run by Papin Sport

The e-bike charging station developed by Papin Sport in Merano offers a convenient way to charge electric bicycles during a stay or a bike tour. The station promotes sustainable mobility and makes it easier for visitors to use e-bikes in and around the city. Use of the station is free of charge and no deposit is required. In addition, bicycle locks, a locker for your own power adapter, tools and an air pump (during opening hours), as well as luggage storage are available. However, customers must bring their own charging cable.

From the city centre, the most convenient option is to board one of the city lines (1 or 4) to reach the "Meran, train railway station" stop.

From the piazza Teatro follow the marked bike path along via Carducci and turn right into via Speckbacher. Continue towards piazza Mazzini from there, you can reach the train station. Look out for the small red cycle path signs.

There is a spacious car park (Praderplatz) near the train station without reserved parking lots.  Attention: in a partial area there is a parking prohibition every tuesday of the year (small weekly market), while the parking prohibition covers the whole area every friday (main weekly market).
To the west of the main entrance, there is a small car parking area with 4 reserved parking lots for people with disabilities.

Bicycle parking spaces are located at the train station. Take care not to park bicycles and e-rollers carelessly. They can pose a danger to blind and visually impaired people as they create obstacles to safely walking along paths and finding entrances. People in wheelchairs and parents with pushchairs can also be hindered by carelessly parked bicycles. Please use the bicycle parking spaces provided.
