13th Burggräfler Palio

Competition between local municipalities.

A friendly competition between local municipalities complete with Thoroughbred and Haflinger horse races defines the Palio del Burgraviato, a lively festival around Merano. The event celebrates two long‐standing South Tyrolean traditions in an atmosphere brimming with folklore, food, music, and entertainment.
