KiMM

KiMM (Kultur in Meran Mais) is a cultural and event center where concerts, exhibitions, and community events take place.

KiMM, which stands for "Kultur in Meran Mais", is a cultural and event centre located in the Maia bassa, Merano.

The venue was created by carefully restoring a historic building and combining it with modern architectural elements. This combination of traditional and modern elements provides KiMM with its unique identity while maintaining the region’s historical essence. 

Today, the center accommodates a diverse range of activities, such as conferences, concerts, exhibitions, theater shows, weddings, and community festivities. Its flexible spaces can accommodate both small gatherings and large public events, making it one of Merano’s most versatile venues.

KiMM aims to bring people together by promoting culture, creativity, and social exchange Due to its distinctive design and vibrant schedule, it has emerged as a significant cultural icon for both locals and tourists.

Public transport
Take bus 210 (Postal) or 201 (Bolzano) to the bus stop ‘Scuola L. Negrelli’, from there it is a three-minute walk to the KIMM.
Description to arrive at destination
From the city centre, follow the marked cycle path (towards Bolzano) to the Kimm building. Look out for the small red cycle path signs.
Parking
A number of free parking spaces are available around the KiMM Raiffeisen and the Maia Bassa parish church.

Bicycle parking spaces are located directly in front of the entrance of the building. Please take care not to park bicycles and e-scooters carelessly. They can pose a danger to blind and visually impaired people as they create obstacles to safely walking along paths and finding entrances. People in wheelchairs and parents with pushchairs can also be hindered by carelessly parked bicycles. Please use the designated bicycle parking spaces.
