Wine & City - Cellar tour with sparkling wine, wine and grappa tasting

Between Merano's arcades and Galilei Street, under the guiding hand of renowned architect Werner Tscholl, a restored and modernised sparkling wine cellar with an impressive wine shop has been created in the historic headquarters of the Algund Winery. This gives all sparkling wine and wine lovers the opportunity to gain an even deeper, more comprehensive insight into the labour-intensive, exclusive production of our BRUT RISERVA 36 according to the ‘metodo classico’.

The cellar has an average temperature of 16°C. Please bring a jacket.

The tasting includes 1 sparkling wine, 3 wines, and 1 grappa and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

The Winery Cantina Merano produces food and must comply with IFS certification standards; therefore, animals are not allowed inside the winery (with the exception of guide dogs for visually impaired guests).
