The Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass is granting you free access to all public transport in the entire South Tyrol with just a single ticket.
Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass holders may use any of the following:

all regional trains in South Tyrol (Brennero-Bolzano-Trento, Malles-Merano-Bolzano, Fortezza-San Candido - these trains are marked with an R, RV & RE on the timetable)
- all urban and extra-urban bus services
- the PostBus Switzerland service between Malles/Mals and Müstair (in Switzerland)
- the Verano, Meltina, Renon, Colle and Maranza cable cars, the Renon mountain railway and the Mendola funicular.
What does the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass cost?
The Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass is not available for purchase. It is handed out by selected accomodation in Merano from just one overnight stay and is included in the room price. The Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass can only be utilized by the authorized holder and is not transferrable to other persons. It must be filled in on the back with the personal name written legibly on it.
How long is the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass valid?
The Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass is valid for 7 days. Guests who have booked a longer stay, receive a second Card after 7 days. The ticket must be validated contactless either prior to boarding (if the journey is by train), or at the start of each ride.
Children under the age of six years old, prams, baby strollers and luggage are all free of charge. A separate ticket is required for bigger dogs. Taxis and group transport rentals are not covered by the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass.
Pleas note: The trains are not equipped for the carriage of many bikes. We recommend to rent a bike or use a bike shuttle, which can be used against payment of a fee.
For carriage of a bicycle in the train you need an extra all-day ticket.
