The cellar is her studio; her profession: oenologist and winemaker; her heart’s desire: wines of the very highest quality;
When your profession doesn’t feel like work, it’s called a passion. Magdalena Pratzner is one of the lucky few who feel this way. In 2019, Magdalena joined her parents’ business.
The estate, perched high above Naturns and around 200 years old, was once the falconry of the nearby Hochnaturns Castle and has been in the Pratzner family’s possession ever since.
Together with her parents, she now cultivates and vinifies the main varieties – Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir – as well as producing brandies.
Join the Falkenstein winery family on an exciting tour of the vineyards. Learn interesting facts about the climate, soil, grape varieties, their cultivation and history. Together, you’ll visit the wine cellar and then taste the exquisite wines.
Dogs are not permitted.
