Warning to keep the city clean
It is forbidden for anyone to immerse crockery or dirty dishes or basins in the fountains or to pour the filth contained therein ... moreover it is forbidden to wash herbs or vegetables or anything else in the town fountains, under penalty of a fine of 27 kreuzer. It will be constant care of the vine merchants and the town militia to scrupulously supervise in order to prevent this from happening.
