The
restaurants in Parcines/Partschins, Rablà/Rabland and Tel/Töll serve only the
best quality traditional South Tyrolean dishes, which are based on
fresh, seasonal ingredients from the area. Mountain huts, restaurants and inns adopt the guidelines of the so-called
Real Quality in the Mountain standard with good food made as it was a hundred years ago and more. Traditional recipes have been safeguarded and handed down from one generation to the next.
Autumn is the time of the
Törggelen festival when locals and visitors alike enjoy convivial gatherings in the taverns and wine cellars feasting on typical seasonal delicacies, mainly roasted chestnuts and the new wine, called Suser.
Besides the
Törggelen festival at the Gaudententurm estate, the gourmet culture in Parcines is celebrated throughout the year in
numerous other gastronomic events such as the Wine Festival in
Stachelburg Castle and the
Goldener Herbsttag gourmet hiking tour.
