South Tyrol’s golf courses offer the finest in golfing vacations. The Golf Club Passeier.Meran and Golf Course Lana Gutshof Brandis are both located in Merano and Environs. Surrounded by impressive mountain scenery and far-reaching orchards, the two nine-hole courses are appreciated by professional and amateur golfers alike.
A few kilometers beyond the area of Alta Val di Non/Deutschnonsberg in the village of Sarnonico is the Dolomiti Golf Club, one of the highest altitude golf courses in the entire Alpine region. Another golf club is found in the village of Appiano/Eppan, the Blue Moon Golf Club designed by star course architect Thomas C. Himmel, which is embedded with natural stretches of water.
Because of the mild local climate, golf courses in South Tyrol can be played from February till November.
