Rock Climbing in Parcines

The Burgstallknott rock climbing area in the village of Vertignes/Vertigen near Parcines/Partschins is also suited to beginners. The wall can also be accessed from the top, allowing practically risk-free solo climbing.

More experienced climbers might try the Huafwond rock gym on the Sonnenberg mountain near Parcines or the more challenging Via Ferrata Ziel on the famous Merano High Mountain Trail 24 .

The Huafwond climbing wall overlooking the Dolomites and the Ziel rock gym may be reached using the Texelbahn Cable Car.
