Music has always played an important role in the life of Parcines/Partschins. Founded by Austrian aristocrat, Franz Ferdinand Ritter von und zu Goldegg in 1818, the 60-piece orchestra is the oldest in the Burggrafenamt region, drawing regular audiences. At its weekly concerts at the Church Square in Parcines and Rablà/Rabland, the orchestra’s repertoire includes renderings of traditional and modern pieces.
