General description
The "climatic terrain cure" combines performance-adjusted walking, endurance training and outdoor exposure. Individually paced walking strengthens the cardiovascular system and improves respiratory function.
The "Terrainkur" trails in Partschins/Parcines have been certified by the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.

Partschins center – Vertigen – Partschinser Waalweg (irrigation channel trail) – waterfall road – trail 1 – Partschins Waterfall
The route starts in the center of Partschins and follows the signposts “Sagenweg-Waalweg” eastwards. After a short but steep ascent, Vertigen and the entrance to the Partschinser irrigation channel trail (Waalweg) are reached.
The irrigation channel trail Partschins (Partschinser Waalweg) continues to the waterfall road. Here the path turns right onto trail 1, following the signs to Partschins Waterfall.
Return to the village is possible by bus.

Landscape & Requirements
Dense deciduous forest (approx. 35%) alternating with sunny open sections (approx. 55%). Scenic views and the gentle sound of flowing water accompany the route.
Due to the sun-exposed ascents, the route has a strong thermal stimulus and is not recommended during intense midday heat.
Description to arrive at destination
The starting points of our hiking tours can be reached comfortably and in an environmentally friendly way by bus and train. With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, all public transport throughout South Tyrol can be used free of charge – no need to search for parking.
