While apples and apricots grow on the sunny slopes around Parcines/Partschins, excellent vintages are produced in the local wineries. The typical South Tyrolean speck (bacon) is slowly cured in the farm cellars under strictly controlled conditions. The farm produce in Parcines, Rablà/Rabland and Tel/Töll fully reflects South Tyrol’s agricultural wealth and diversity.
The farm outlets, the organic food stores, the small corner stores and the shops in Parcines stock speck, local salamis, excellent craft fruit liqueurs, wines, honey, preserved fruit and vegetables and typical local sweetmeats on their shelves.
The roasted Schreyögg coffee is a premium local brand and widely available in Parcines and elsewhere in South Tyrol.
