From September 2024 to the end of 2026, the Reschen Road B180 will be undergoing construction to build a rockfall gallery between Kajetansbrücke/Pfunds and Nauders. During this period, the road will be closed at certain times.
The Reschen/Resia Road between Nauders and Pfunds is once again completely closed until 2 May 2025.
From 6 May 2025 until August/September 2026, traffic will be regulated by traffic lights and reduced to a single lane, before another full closure takes place until November 2026.
Alternative Route:
During closures, traffic will be rerouted via Switzerland. The detour runs along the Engadin Road (B184) and Martinsbruck Road (B185). This route adds approximately 6.6 km to the journey and may take about 10 minutes longer, depending on traffic.
A de-tailed route planner (Kajetansbrücke/Pfunds) for the detour can be found here:

Important traffic information:
Cars: Rerouted via the Engadin Road (B184) and Martinsbruck Road (B185).
Trucks, vehicles with trailers over 6.5 m, and buses over 13 m: These vehicles cannot use the detour and must take a longer alternative route.

Vehicles over 3.5 tons are required to pay a heavy vehicle tax at the Swiss customs office in Martina. The fee is €5 per trip per vehicle and is collected on-site.
