South Tyrolean specialties include stuffed ravioli (Schlutzkrapfen) and savory dumplings (Knödel) with drinks such as homemade elderberry juice, local wines or fresh spring water from Mount Vigiljoch.
There are a number of mountain huts, inns and restaurants on Mount Vigiljoch, such as the characteristic Bärenbad Alm mountain hut, the Eggerhof inn, and the Naturnser Alm mountain hut. Beside the Seespitz mountain restaurant on the Vigiljoch hiking area, similar amenities can be found at the nearby Merano 2000 skiing and hiking area and the Tschögglberg mountain Plateau.
