How much is the tourist tax in Lana and its Sorroundings?
The amount of the local tourist tax depends on the category of the accommodation and is set anew each year. Below, you will find the amount of the local tax for 2024.

• € 2,90 per guest over 14 years of age, per night spent in Hotel category 4, 4s e 5 stars
• € 2,40 per guest over 14 years of age, per night spent in Hotel category 3 e 3s stars, farm stay vacation category 5 flowers, holiday homes category 5 suns and cam sites category 5 stars
• € 1,90 per guest over 14 years of age, per night spent in all the other types of accommodations 

As from 1st January 2014, a local tourist tax was introduced in South Tyrol. The revenue is used for the maintenance and improvement of local infrastructure and services, as well as
the organization of cultural and sports events. The tourist tax is charged by all accommodation establishments, per guest, per night spent, and is based upon the category which
the establishment falls under. Children under 14 years of age are exempt from this levy, which is payable on departure and is shown separately on the invoice. The local tourist tax

When does the apple harvest start?
The first varieties such as Gala are harvested from mid-August. In September and October there is the most intensive activity of the apple harvest. The late variety Pink Lady is harvested up to early November.
